All enterprises are required to secure a Business License and Mayor's Permit, and pay business taxes and other regulatory fees before the start of commercial operations.

 

Here is how to process your Mayor's Permit for Business (Business Permit): 

  1. Submit the duly filled out application form along with all the requirements to the Licensing Unit at 2F Malay Municipal Hall in Poblacion. 
  2. Wait while the Licensing Clerk is verifying the completeness of the documents required.
  3. If complete, you will be advised to go to the Assessment Section of Treasury Office at GF of the Municipal Hall to assess and compute the corresponding fees and charges.
  4. Pay the assessed computation of the fees and charges.
  5. Go back to the Licensing Unit and present the Official Receipt as proof that you paid the fees and charges.
  6. Wait to release the Mayor's Permit for Business (Business Permit) Document.
  7. And you are done.

Note: The required documents are not easy task to process, so you have to provide enough time and patience to accomplish it.  The seven (7) steps above will be as easy as that as long as the requirements are complete.

  • Capital Investment (Notarized)
  • Barangay Clearance on Business
  • Zoning Clearance
  • Occupany Permit or Certificate of Occupancy
  • PESO Certification
  • Sanitary Permit
  • Photocopy of SEC Registration if corporation, CDA if cooperative, DTI if partnership/sole proprietorship
  • Photocopy of PHILHEALTH, SSS, PAG-IBIG, and BIR Registration
  • Certificate for Tax Exemption if business is tax exempt
  • Corporate Tax for corporation
  • Real Property Tax Clearance/Official receipt for the current year
  • Conract of Lease
  • Fire Safety Inspection Certificate
  • Association Endorsement (for business requiring association endorsement only)
  • Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) registration certificate (for pawnshops, foreign exchange dealer, money changer, remittance agent)

Requirements for Renewal:

  • Barangay Clearance on Business
  • Zoning Clearance
  • Occupancy Permit/Clearance
  • PESO Certification
  • Sanitary Permit from MHO
  • Photocopy of BIR Annual Registration
  • Mayor's Permit (previous year)
  • Gross Sales-Preceding Year (certified by the President and Treasurer if corporation, and by the owner if single proprietorship/notarized)
  • Copy of previous Official Receipt showing annual or quarterly payments
  • Corporate Tax (for corporation)
  • Certificate of Good Payment Standing for PHILIHEALTH, SSS, and PAG-IBIG
  • Real Property Tax Clearance/Official Receipt for the current year
  • Fire Safety Inspection Certificate
  • Association Endorsement (for business requiring association endorsement only)
