Local Food

Local cuisine is still in the hearts of Malaynons, however, it can only be seen in homes and some occassions.

  1. Tinumkan - a shrimp mix with local local herbs and spices, grinded and mix together using easong and hae-o. The mixture is placed into a banana leaf  and cooked in water for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Chicken Adobo in Coconut Milk - same process on how to cook adobo but used coconut milk instead of soy sauce.
  3. Inumoe - a fermented rice placed inside a payao leaf.
